Learn at your own pace

At the heart of the project is a series of eight short films, each approximately five minutes long, presenting the way that a typical patient support group might deal with the problems and challenges that crop up in the life of both newly diagnosed and experienced asthmatics.

Each episode builds upon the previous ones, so it may be help-ful to watch them in sequence. If the films are shown in new or existing patient groups, it is recommended that you watch the episodes individually (that is, over eight patient group sessions) and to exchange ideas and discuss experiences after each one. Further information is available for each topic, in the form of flyers or other text materials.

If you don‘t have the opportunity to watch with a patient group, feel free to watch the scenes in your own time and at your own pace, for example, in the office of a doctor or asthma nurse and make sure to write down notes or any questions you may have after each topic in the space provided in this brochure.

Each episode ends with a few key "points to remember", which you may find helpful during future consultations with your doctor/nurse.
