EFA is pleased to announce that this year’s AGM and annual Network Meeting will be held in Dublin on the 11th and 12th of May, and hosted by the Asthma Society of Ireland. On the first day EFA members will have the opportunity to give input about EFA policies and activities to better serve the interests of people with allergy, asthma and COPD and improve services for members. They will also be able to vote on key issues.
At this year’s AGM members will be electing one board member and a vice-president. EFA warmly invites members to nominate candidates, and invites all those interested to complete a nomination form and send in a CV before 27 March 2012. The rest of the board will continue until the AGM in 2013.
The networking day will be dedicated to sharing information on projects, policies and practices at the national level, and feature discussions with colleagues from across Europe. It will also be an opportunity for the EFA working groups to meet face-to-face to exchange information and ideas.
EFA Members are invited to begin sending in their completed registration forms and application for travel and accommodation funding before 7 March 2012. These documents, as well as the draft programme for the two days, are also available on the EFA website. EFA would also be happy to receive your comments on the network meeting programme.
