Show your organisation cares about allergy, asthma and COPD: sponsor EFA

If you wish to improve patient outcomes in Europe you are in the right place.

At EFA, we place the needs of patients at the forefront of policymaking in the European Union. At the moment we represent 43 national allergy, asthma and COPD patients associations in European 25 countries.

Our vision is for all people with allergy, asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in Europe to live uncompromised lives, have the right and access to best quality care, participate in their care and have a safe environment.

We believe by joining forces we can develop new approaches to benefit allergy, asthma and COPD patients in Europe.

At EFA, we voice patient needs, we push for policy change, and we deliver.

Benefits of sponsorship

Our sustainable funding partnerships are based on EFA’s core values. All our activities are reflected in EFA Annual Reports.

Since our creation in 1991, we have built long-term and sustainable partnerships with companies and foundations that sponsor our core work and projects.

EFA’s profile is growing rapidly in Europe as more and more people recognise the importance of preventing allergy, airways disease and the relevance of patients groups to improve quality of care.

We focus on a wide range of topics, including increasing awareness, improving access to quality care, boosting health literacy and disease self-management, investing in prevention and early diagnosis, and tackling inequalities, among other topics.

Companies that support EFA benefit from:

  • Public disclosure on sustainable funding partners contribution to EFA
  • Open dialogue with EFA leadership, based on mutual trust and independence
  • Enhanced corporate image and positive public relations from support to patients
  • Networking opportunities with European allergy, asthma and COPD patients groups
  • Participation at EFA’s Annual Funding Partners meeting
  • Patient expert feedback and input for new projects
  • First-hand knowledge and updates on EFA projects’ findings

Types of sponsorship

Companies, foundations and individuals wishing to support EFA’s work can do it under several modalities:

  • Sustainable funding partnership: EFA aims to ensure a sustainable partnership when receiving external corporate sources as means to preserve our ethical and integrity values.

  • EFA Projects funding: sustainable funding partners are able to support as many EFA project activities as they wish.

  • Donation: individual and collective funding from people sympathasing with patient cause and wishing to support our work are welcome. Their contributions will support our daily activities at European level.

  • Ad hoc activities: sustainable funding partners can also sponsor ad hoc activities like trainings, participation to events or publications.

Our activities are key to empower people living with respiratory chronic diseases to manage their disease and get the essential support they need, in synergy with our network of members.

We gratefully thank all the sustainable funding partners for 2016 for their kind support.
