EFA Member the Asthma Society Ireland has had a quite busy start into 2019. In January, they were running two campaigns simultaneously, Operation Asthma and Winter Wellness.
Operation Asthma aims to get more people in control of their asthma. On social media daily asthma advice and relevant resources were provided, supported by information in areas such as medication adherence, exercising, networking, quitting smoking and diet. The second campaign, Winter Wellness, concerns managing asthma during cold weather. Information has been issued to the press containing tips for asthma patients. Further, a video with asthma patient ambassador Cròna Tansey has been launched, speaking about managing her asthma. Click here to watch the video.
