EMA has just published new informative materials on “black triangle” which is the sign that identifies medicines that are being monitored particularly closely. A video on the topic is available with the full audio track in English, Spanish, German, French and Italian, while the English version provides the option to switch on subtitles in all other EU languages. A “factsheet” on the label in all EU languages has been published too. EFA is advocating for patients’ safety and increased transparency and we welcome these materials that aim at empowering patients to report any adverse reactions they may have with these medicines.
