EFA Member, Dutch Food Allergy Foundation, has started a campaign encouraging patients with food allergies and intolerances to report bad experiences within public establishments to the National Reporting Centre. The campaign aims at collecting patient evidence on discrimination or wrong service taking their food allergies into account, when being in a public school or hospital. The initiative follows up a survey done by the Foundation on how food allergies are not always taken into account in hospitals. With increased reporting, the Foundations aims at urging national authorities to act. More information can be found here.
