Ending asthma is not just about research and investment. The key to curving down asthma is having people who are willing to work towards achieving this aim. EARIP met in Brussels to discuss how to improve collaboration and involve all those who can make this EU project a reality. The event was hosted by Catherine Stihler, MEP, who has also become a member of the EP Interest Group on Allergy and Asthma.
Since May, Expo Milano has hosted the ideas of more than 140 participating countries on one topic: how to guarantee healthy, safe and sufficient food for eveyone. As one of the aspects of healthy and safe food concerns allergens, and how they are labelled and consumed, we were honoured to bring the patient's perspective to this international event.
The MyAirCoach programme brochure was launched at the ERS Congress in Amsterdam. Aimed at all stakeholderss, it will help to promote the project throughout it's lifecycle.
The EFA Project team attended a European Commission event for organisations interested in the Horizon 2020 research programme. The event explored collaboration, as well as learnings from successful project applicants.
Lina Bužermanienė shares her perspective as the EFA representative at the European Medicines Agency. Marking 20 years of patient input into the development of therapies, she explains how through this involvement the agency‘s work is enhanced by real life input from patients.
