As announced in our October newsletter, our Capacity Building project is up and running with a new format to allow all our members to participate and benefit from it.
We started the webinar series at the end of October with a session on fundraising, which was followed by other four meetings on governance, communication, membership and project management. Each webinar is hold by an expert in the field who are providing our patient representatives with unique insight and knowledge. Two other webinars are planned in November, one on Advocacy on the 20th and a second one on fundraising on the 26th, and two in December, on communication, the 3rd, and on advocacy the 14th. We will close the series with another webinar on project management to be held in the first half of January 2019.
In parallel, EFA is organising three meetings that will happen by the end of the year. First we are visiting Romania, where a group of patients are in the process of establishing a patient organisation on allergy and asthma and we are supporting them in this process. The other two events will be in Brussels and will involve our members. On November 22nd we scheduled a workshop on campaigning together with a professional agency that is going to explain us how to maximise our efforts when advocating with policy makers. Last, December 12th and 13th it will be the time for our annual Meet&Greet the EU. We look forward to see you there for our last meeting of the year!!
