Scientific programme focusing on Precision Medicine

This years’ overall topic was ‘Precision Medicine’. The scientific programme was developed to provide delegates with new knowledge on allergen structure, aerobiology, disease endotypes, biologicals, genomics, proteomics and metabolomics.

A great possibility to meet, greet and connect

With more than 7,000 delegates attending, the Congress was also an opportunity to familiarise with organisations and stakeholders who have an impact in the world of allergy and immunology, apart from pharmaceutical companies. The National Society Village gave visibility to medical societies from Europe but also to patient groups like EFA and our international sister organisation GAAPP (Global Allergy and Asthma Patient Platform).

Visitors to our booth could meet the EFA team and get copies of our report ITCHING FOR LIFE – Quality of Life and costs for people with severe atopic eczema in Europe, as well as EFA Annual Report 2018 and the brochures of the European Parliament Interest Group on Asthma and Allergy.
