Winter time may be hard for asthma patients. Cold air can irritate airways, triggering asthma symptoms and sometimes asthma attacks.

To give hints for patients to avoid cold, EFA member Asthma UK has launched #scarfie, a campaign to raise awareness of this special risks for asthma patients during the coldest months of the year. The association has developed some tips to managing the disease during extreme weather conditions.
