EFA generates evidence, shares knowledge about, campaigns and raises awareness of allergy and airway diseases. We bring to attention EFA’s influence and activities through our various platforms that reach out to patients, healthcare professionals and policymakers.
In 2021, we launched two new projects generating patient evidence, the European Atopic Eczema Consensus Europe project, and DIG_IT, a patient survey and report to understand the asthma and COPD patients’ digital health journey. We also continued advancing on long-lasting EFA projects the Capacity Building Programme and two partnership projects: the MEP Interest Group on Allergy and Asthma and the BREATHE Coalition, where we facilitate European-level respiratory organisations exchange and joint advocacy.
