In September, at the European Academy of Dermatology and Venerology (EADV) Congress in Milan, Italy, EFA launched with a press release the “European Consensus Report 2022: The Burden of Atopic Eczema”, which has been translated into 10 languages that will be published in 2023.

During the Congress, EFA delegation composed presented the report to healthcare professionals and industry representatives. The meeting in person also provided us with the opportunity to greet several members of the Consensus Committee  and record videos around the main messages of the consensus report: atopic eczema affects patients far beyond the skin so patients require patient-centred, multidisciplinary, integrated care models to respond to address the many burdens brought by the disease. The resulting videos, together with a Call to Action and an advocacy toolkit to guide national associations with the communications of the report, will underpin EFA’s dissemination of the report in 2023.
