Károly Illy (MD, MBA) is CEO of Longfonds and board member of the Health Funds for a Smokefree Netherlands. Longfonds is the Dutch patient organization for people with lung diseases. Longfonds also finances scientific research to prevent lung diseases or to better treat lung diseases. And finally, Longfonds advocates for better air quality and a smokefree (and vapefree) generation. Formerly, Károly was a paediatrician for more than 29 years and has also been president of the Dutch Royal College of Paediatrics.
