Our Director Susanna Palkonen is the patient representative of the EU Research Programme H2020 Panel for Health , charged to prepare a vision and address hurdles for EU funded health research. In the latest meeting follow up on public workshops held by the Panel were discussed as well as the second public conference, scheduled for 9 June 2017 in Brussels. In January Susanna was part of the delegation meeting the Commissioner for Health, Mr. Andriukaitis and the one for Research, Mr. Moedas. These high level meetings served to inform on progress and discuss the proposals from the Panel on moving forward, including involving patients and the public in defining priorities for research that concerns their health and prevention.
