EFA warmly invites all members to the Annual General Meeting, thematic programme and working groups in Reykjavik, Iceland 30-31 March 2020. Please find below the invitation, programme and board nomination form. The registration together with the programme are here.  

The location is Grand Hotel Reykjavík.

Outline

We will start the AGM business going through the annual report and finances of 2019 and plans for 2020. President and two board members will be elected in board elections. Please see the letter for more information, including about the current board.

Then we will have two extensive hours to look at and strengthen EFA Strategy 2020-2025 based on your insight, view and priorities. We end the first day’s working programme with a session where you are invited to present on your work on prevention.

The second day we have a state-of-the-art session on air pollution, given the Green Deal the EU made last week. The aim would be to have an update on the current situation, health effects, what is being done about it and innovative opportunities for patients that we represent. You will also be invited to vote for a ‘patients’ green deal’. The afternoon the EFA working groups, open for all, will share best practices and plan ahead.

Registration by 20 January.

Board nominations by the 10 February.

EFA board has their meeting to finalise the AGM documents on the 11 February, after which they will be sent to you.
